Safe Pet Transport Standards

Shipping and Delivery Policy

Comprehensive standards governing in person family pickup and accompanied cabin Flight Nanny delivery across the United States.

Zero Cargo Policy: Humane Accompanied Transport Only

Nine Tails Dobermann prioritizes the physical safety and emotional comfort of every puppy during transit. Under no circumstances do we ship puppies in unattended airline cargo holds, commercial freight trucks, or unheated baggage compartments. Every puppy leaves our nursery through one of two humane, personal methods: scheduled in person pickup by your family or accompanied cabin Flight Nanny delivery aboard a commercial passenger aircraft.

Minimum Age and Veterinary Clearance Before Travel

In full compliance with United States animal welfare regulations and state veterinary rules, no puppy ever departs our care before reaching at least eight weeks of age. In fact, all puppies listed on our Available Puppies page are ten weeks old or twelve weeks old, ensuring they are fully weaned, eating solid meals independently, and resilient enough for travel. Within ten days prior to any flight, our licensed veterinarian conducts a thorough pre travel examination and issues an official Certificate of Veterinary Inspection verifying that the puppy is healthy, hydrated, and cleared to fly.

How Accompanied Cabin Flight Nanny Delivery Works

When you select our Flight Nanny delivery option, a trained pet courier travels with your puppy inside the climate controlled passenger cabin of a major commercial airline. Your puppy rides inside a soft, ventilated, airline compliant cabin carrier tucked safely at the nanny feet. Throughout the journey, the Flight Nanny provides attentive supervision, clean absorbent bedding, fresh water, and gentle reassurance.

We deliver to major commercial airports across all fifty states. Once your reservation is finalized, we coordinate with you to select a convenient delivery date, typically within three to seven days of reservation confirmation depending on your preferred schedule. You receive the complete flight itinerary, airline confirmation details, and your Flight Nanny direct mobile telephone number at least twenty four hours before departure.

Airport Arrival Handoff Procedure

On delivery day, your Flight Nanny sends you a message and photograph from the departure airport before boarding and contacts you again immediately upon landing at your destination airport. You meet the Flight Nanny right outside the secure arrival gate or designated baggage claim meeting point inside the terminal. Please bring a valid government issued photo identification card to sign the delivery handoff receipt. Your nanny will hand you your puppy along with their folder containing the official veterinary health certificate, immunization records, AKC registration paperwork, and starter food pack.

Weather Safety and Rescheduling Protections

Because your puppy travels inside the temperature controlled passenger cabin alongside human travelers rather than in cargo, normal seasonal weather variations rarely disrupt cabin nanny flights. However, if severe storms or airline schedule changes ever pose a delay that could affect your puppy comfort, we immediately notify you and reschedule the flight for the next safe travel window at no additional cost to your family.

In Person Family Pickup By Appointment

Families who prefer to drive or fly in personally to collect their reserved puppy are warmly invited to schedule a pickup appointment. We prepare all travel supplies and veterinary documentation in advance so your journey home by car or cabin flight is comfortable and organized. For any questions about airport availability or scheduling, please email info@ninetailsdobermann.com or by phone at +1 409 424 6377.

Travel Carrier Standards and In Flight Hydration Protocol

Every puppy traveling with our Flight Nanny rides inside a brand new or thoroughly sanitized airline approved cabin carrier featuring three sided breathable mesh ventilation, a waterproof fleece comfort pad, and secure locking zippers. Prior to boarding, the nanny offers your puppy purified water and ensures they have relieved themselves on a clean pad so they can sleep comfortably during the flight.

During flights exceeding three hours or itineraries involving a brief plane change, the nanny checks on your puppy continuously, refreshes their bedding if needed, and offers water droplets or a small lick of puppy electrolyte gel to keep energy levels steady. Upon arrival at your local airport, your puppy is handed directly to you inside the terminal building along with their travel care pouch and veterinary folder. We never use third party ground freight brokers or multi day van transport services where puppies spend days in cages on the highway.
