Refund and Return Policy
Clear policies regarding reservations, cancellations, health guarantee remedies, and lifetime ethical return protections.
Our Philosophy on Ethical Placement and Consumer Fairness
Unlike manufactured retail goods, a living Dobermann puppy requires continuous daily care, veterinary preparation, and emotional bonding. Placing a puppy into a new home is a serious responsibility for both our family and yours. Our Refund and Return Policy is written in plain language so every prospective family understands how reservation deposits, cancellations, health guarantee claims, and lifetime return protections operate before making a commitment.
Reservation Deposits and Cancellations Prior to Delivery
When you reserve a specific ten week old or twelve week old Dobermann puppy, we remove that puppy from public availability and turn away other inquiring families while preparing your puppy veterinary travel certificates and registration packet. If your household circumstances change prior to delivery or pickup and you need to postpone your adoption, your reservation payment may be transferred one hundred percent toward any puppy in a current or future Nine Tails Dobermann litter within twelve months.
If Nine Tails Dobermann is ever unable to place your reserved puppy due to an unforeseen veterinary finding prior to departure, you will receive your choice of an immediate one hundred percent full refund of all funds paid or an immediate transfer of your payment to another available puppy of equal value.
Seventy Two Hour Initial Veterinary Examination Protection
Every puppy is examined and cleared by our licensed veterinarian before leaving our home. Once your puppy arrives via in person pickup or accompanied cabin Flight Nanny, we require that you take your puppy to your own licensed veterinarian within seventy two hours for a routine new puppy examination. If your licensed veterinarian documents in writing that the puppy has a serious, pre existing medical illness or congenital condition present at the time of transfer that renders the puppy unfit as a family companion, you may return the puppy to our care for a full hundred percent refund of the purchase price or select a replacement puppy.
One Year Congenital and Hereditary Health Warranty Remedies
In addition to the initial seventy two hour veterinary check, every puppy is protected by our written one year congenital and hereditary health guarantee. Should a licensed veterinarian confirm a life threatening hereditary or congenital condition within twelve months of birth, aided by standard diagnostic records shared with our veterinarian, Nine Tails Dobermann will provide either a replacement puppy of equal value or reimbursement of documented veterinary treatment costs up to the original purchase price of the puppy, without requiring you to surrender a beloved family member if you wish to keep them in your home.
Lifetime Safe Harbor Return and Rehoming Policy
We stand behind every dog born in our nursery for their entire life. No dog bred by Nine Tails Dobermann may ever be placed in an animal shelter, municipal pound, rescue intake facility, or third party resale arrangement. If an adoptive family experiences a major life change such as severe illness, relocation, or financial hardship at any point during the dog life and can no longer care for their Dobermann, we welcome the dog back into our home unconditionally.
While voluntary returns resulting from changes in personal lifestyle, landlord rules, or family scheduling after the initial seventy two hour inspection period do not qualify for a cash refund, we work closely with returning owners to rehome the dog responsibly with an approved family.
